This project was a study in usability inspired by observations conducted at New York cross-town bus stops during peak hours.  Fellow collaborator, Dan Willig, and I set out to change the pattern of human behavior at bus stops which could best be described as a free-for-all. We proposed an intervention that would encourage travelers to wait for the bus in an orderly fashion. We tested this idea at an 86th Street bus stop.
